Feb. 25, 2019, 11:24 p.m. I see a bit of digital static on analog 6, but WLFM-LP is obliterating WOUC-DT despite being aimed right at WOUC. de Andrew KN8FEL OH EN91

Feb. 25, 2019, 10:51 p.m. I got the following email from the WOUC engineer... "I had reached out to WLFM-LP several times to no avail. Today we reached out to WLFM-LP’s legal counsel. They are aware that they need to turn off their system. If it is not turned off by tomorrow morning then we will be forced to ask the FCC to take action. That is not something I want to do to another broadcaster but they have known about this for over a year now." de Andrew KN8FEL OH EN91

Feb. 25, 2019, 9:52 p.m. Low-VHF frequencies aren't all that bad for certain modes of analog and ham radio here. I get out well on 6 meters with a compromise antenna. It's just the ATSC 1.0 is garbage on low-VHF... that was a huge oversight. de Andrew KN8FEL OH EN91

Feb. 25, 2019, 9:51 p.m. CD, I honestly haven't noticed much if any difference in audio quality on 87.7 in my car while driving around. I am barely noticing any digital static on analog 6. Now I understand why low-VHF is the electrostatic pit. It's absolutely terrible for ATSC 1.0. A station goes from 50% watchable SNR on UHF to zero signal on low-VHF (distance = 69 miles). de Andrew KN8FEL OH EN91
