WPIX to go ATSC-3.0

WPIX New York becomes the 2nd station in the market to switch to ATSC-3.0. Check out the following URLs…

The change should take place around December 5th. WABC (RF7) and WXTV (RF26) will share WPIX’s ATSC-1.0 offerings.

    Does anyone know if PIX will keep its 1.0 signal available? Was a bummer losing WLIW to 3.0, but we got WEDW from CT as a replacement.

      WPIX told the FCC it wants to put its 1.0 on WABC-7. The last line of the original post says it.

    WPIX revised the ASTC-3.0 date to December 13,around 11am I believe. Then rf-11 will go blank if you don’t have ASTC-3.0 TV. Otherwise, you have to rescan, to get WPIX 11.1 on rf7. (if you can get rf-7 WABC…. I can’t).
